If you are in Wellington and looking for a great little place for dinner, head to WBC on Victoria St. WBC is new to the culinary landscape in Wellington, but has deep roots in great food experiences with key folk having had links to Arbatrageur and Capitol.
We headed there on Thursday night for date night. We we also joined by a friend who was celebrating her birthday. From the moment we walked in the service was great. The place was full and abuzz.
We chose to try a variety of small plates – squid, oysters, clams, pork ribs, beetroot bruschetta, and the list goes on. All wonderfully cooked.
I finished up with a fab creme brulee and delicious oranges in syrup.
It cost $128 for three of us. We were well fed and watered. WBC – well worth it.
